The elemental form of the clothes rack reminds of the spine and bone structure of the human body, supporting the body as the clothes on its rack. They are meant to appear simple, static on the other hand though somewhat flexible, open yet closed, still and yet intensive, soft and yet powerful.


Wood in daily usage radiates warmth and natural beauty. The shape of the rack was influenced by the aboriginal culture, eg the boomerang, which was a weapon, tool, sculpture and holy object all at once. Segments of waves in sinusform, designed with the help of computer generated drawings, help shape the soft parabolic curves…
